• Serve as the ISO process owner, maintaining accreditation and leading all interactions with the external auditing agency.

• Metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience in lean and continuous improvement principles
• At least 5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methods, standards, and best practices.
• Experience managing an ISO 9001:2015 certification and quality system.
• Highly process-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven success leading and developing a quality team.

Talis Group’s client is a premier (and very busy) electrical contracting firm working in the commercial and industrial sectors.  They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Coordinator to support the Safety Director in developing and enforcing company safety programs that ensure a compliant, hazard-free work environment. This role is responsible for safety training, job site audits, incident investigations, and maintaining OSHA and company safety documentation across multiple projects.

Salary $75 – 85K++ (based on experience, history and skills) plus a generous benefit package.

 Highlighted Duties

• Assist Safety Director in developing and updating company-wide safety policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and all applicable regulations
• Plan and conduct safety training, orientations, and jobsite safety audits
• Perform field hazard evaluations and provide corrective recommendations
• Support field staff with incident reporting, safety documentation, and compliance.

• Plan and manage material requirements using MRP/ERP systems to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Purchase and expedite materials; resolve shortages and discrepant materials.
• Develop, manage, and negotiate with suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain reporting to support production schedules.
• Apply Lean principles (Kanban, pull systems, JIT, point-of-use) to improve inventory flow and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to mitigate delays and material shortages.

HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS with 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a Lean manufacturing environment, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of ERP/MRP system experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CPIM/APICS certification and international procurement experience a plus.
