Temporary Paralegal / Legal Assistant – Personal Injury Law Firm (Louisville, KY – East End)
A well-established personal injury law firm located in the East End of Louisville is seeking a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to provide support during a medical leave. This is a temporary position expected to last 1–3 months, with the potential for a permanent role if the current employee does not return.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including document preparation and filing
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery responses
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Organize and maintain case files and medical records
- Perform other administrative and legal support duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Details:
- Location: East End of Louisville, KY
- Duration: Temporary (1–3 months), with potential for permanent employment
- Schedule: Full-time preferred
