Talis Group is proud to partner with a growing and innovative environmental solutions company that develops safe, sustainable chemical technologies for wastewater treatment and industrial applications. As their business continues to expand, they are seeking an Operations Coordinator to become the hub of their Hopkinsville operation.

This is a highly visible role that combines customer fulfillment, sales support, logistics coordination, business administration, and operational support. You'll work across multiple departments to ensure exceptional customer experience while helping the business operate efficiently.  If you're highly organized, enjoy solving problems, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love being the person who keeps everything on track, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Highlighted Duties

  • Coordinate customer orders from quotation through delivery while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare quotes, sales orders, and customer documentation while maintaining accurate ERP records.
  • Communicate with customers and the sales team regarding order status, delivery schedules, and service requests.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams to ensure inventory availability and on-time deliveries.
  • Help optimize delivery schedules and maximize fleet efficiency.
  • Manage customer purchasing portals, vendor registrations, and account setup.
  • Process customer payments and assist with billing support and operational reporting.
  • Support laboratory, engineering, and management teams with administrative and operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Highlighted Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, operations coordination, sales support, logistics, purchasing, business administration, or a related role in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Experience with ERP preferred
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, environmental, engineering, laboratory, or chemical businesses is preferred.
