Highlighted Duties:
- Transcribe, draft, edit, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, and closing materials
- Coordinate and schedule commercial real estate closings; prepare checklists, closing binders, and settlement documents
- Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, and title companies to ensure seamless and timely closings
- Maintain and organize case files in both electronic and paper formats
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and monitor key deadlines
- Handle e-filings, document indexing, and general administrative support
Highlighted Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally in commercial real estate or transactional law
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, especially with transcription and document preparation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience coordinating real estate closings highly preferred
