Talis Group’s client is a premier construction company serving the commercial and industrial sectors in the Louisville metro area.  Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the office runs efficiently and smoothly. 

This role serves as a key operational support position for leadership & internal teams, coordinating office logistics, technology resources, vendor relationships, & administrative staff.  The Office Manager will play an important role in maintaining an organized, professional work environment while helping improve processes that support company operations.

This position is fully onsite in Louisville, with hours typically 8am-5pm.  Occasional LOCAL travel to job sites may be required to assist with office or technology setup.  Company offers strong benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, 401k with match, and generous PTO.

Salary range is $75k-$90k. 

Highlighted Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a professional, productive and organized environment that supports productivity and team collaboration.
  • Supervise front office staff as assigned and delegate administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements, and appointments for leadership and team members.
  • Assist HR with onboarding of new employees and maintain office policies, procedures, and documentation to support efficient operations.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, invoices and vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Maintain the office building environment including coordination of maintenance, services, and supplies.
  • Assist with company auto fleet administration as needed.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to support office and project needs.
  • Manage office technology needs including phones, devices, and equipment.
  • Serve as liaison between internal teams and IT vendors to coordinate support and resources.
  • Assist with setup of devices, workstations, and technology for new hires or office changes.
  • Assist accounting leadership with expense tracking, vendor invoices, and basic bookkeeping support.
  • Oversee front office budgets and expense reporting; track documentation, contracts, and administrative records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and operational efficiency. 

Highlighted Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, higher diploma, or demonstrated success in office management.
  • 3–5 years of experience in office administration or office management within a larger company environment; preferred experience supervising admin or clerical staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience working with accounting or job cost software preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, engaging personality with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
