Talis Group’s client, a growing and well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic Director of Human Resources to join its leadership team. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will serve as a trusted advisor and key business partner, helping shape the future of the organization while leading all aspects of the HR function. Salary range: 120,000 – 150,000 + strong benefits package

HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES

  • Partner closely with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals and operational growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and liaison to the President and leadership team.
  • Help foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
  • Assist with implementation of new ERP system.
  • Build and lead programs that develop frontline employees into future managers
  • Help create a strong internal leadership pipeline and succession strategy.
  • Drive goal setting, performance reviews, employee development, and accountability initiatives.
  • Utilize metrics and performance systems to support growth and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and enhance compensation structures and pay-for-performance programs.
  • Collaborate with brokers and vendors to optimize benefit offerings while managing costs.
    Oversee recruiting strategy and hiring processes across production and office functions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Develop and maintain policies related to hiring, termination, PTO, workplace safety, affirmative action, and employee relations.
  • Streamline HR processes and systems to improve efficiency and employee experience.

HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within manufacturing or distribution environments.
  • Minimum - bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required SPHR or SHRM certification is a plus.
    Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Experience supporting leadership teams and influencing organizational decisions.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Passion for culture, employee development, and operational excellence.
  • Experience with compensation strategy and performance-based pay systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
