Entry-Level Paralegal
Job Description
Talis Groups' company client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Paralegal to join our Civil Defense Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in building a long-term career in litigation. We provide comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and ongoing mentorship in a supportive, professional environment. This position is full time, Monday -Friday, on site and offers a full benefits package.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with day-to-day case management for civil defense litigation matters
- Prepare, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files
- Draft and proofread routine legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings under supervision
- Assist with discovery requests and responses, document review, and production
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings
- Perform court filings and monitor deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Provide general administrative and litigation support as needed
Highlighted Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Paralegal Studies or related field preferred, but not required)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); legal software experience a plus but not required
- Interest in civil litigation and willingness to learn
