Talis Group is hiring for a Sr. Design Engineer on behalf of a long-standing manufacturing client. If you’re early in your engineering career and want to work on real-world applications of your designs, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a company that values innovation and quality.  This is a day shift opportunity with weekend work very rare.  Salary $90-$110k with bonus opportunity and full benefit package.

Highlighted Duties:

• Use 3D modeling software to design and update metal fabricated products
• Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure durability and performance
• Create detailed work instructions to support production teams
• Build and test prototypes for new product designs
• Design custom fixtures and tooling for manufacturing support
• Assist with quality control efforts and the setup of product test equipment

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
• 1+ years of design engineering experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and FEA tools
• Understanding of metal fabrication processes
• Strong hands-on problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented, detail-focused, and eager to learn
