Job Description
Talis Group’s client is a Louisville law firm with a rich history of serving clients with excellence and integrity. As a mid-size firm, they offer the resources and expertise of a larger organization while maintaining the personalized attention and flexibility of a smaller practice. Firm is hiring an Attorney for their Business Litigation division to work on a wide range of complex litigation matters for their diverse client base. Position offers amazing bonus structure at 1800 billables, benefits and the ability to train under talented Partners.
Highlighted Duties:
- Represent clients in all phases of business litigation, including pre-trial investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeal
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Assist with case management and supervision of support staff
Highlighted Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Kentucky Bar
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing business litigation
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and professionalism
