The Quality Assurance Manager will be the champion of quality across the company. We want someone who will work to prevent flaws before they happen and set standards, not just meet them.
Salary: $100K - $115K make money and enjoy the process.
HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES
- Lead initiatives in quality, reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Improve and maintain our Quality Management System to support operational excellence.
- Analyze warranty, manufacturing, and First Pass Yield (FPY) data to identify and act on trends.
- Own and manage the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) system.
- Guide and implement the NPI quality process; collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality is built in from day one.
- Mentor and manage a skilled quality inspection team.
- Support and lead training efforts for manufacturing staff and supervisors.
- Address customer concerns related to product quality; occasional domestic and international travel required (<25%).
- Gain deep understanding of our manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness across QMS processes.
- Lead creation and implementation of Control Plans across production.
HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Engineering or Quality Management role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical skills—you see problems before they happen.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep commitment to quality with high attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and process engineering. (Bonus points for experience in foodservice equipment - fryers, ovens, or cooking systems.)
