Talis Group is working with our client to hire an experienced Project Engineer in Brandenburg, Kentucky for Salary of $110,000 - $120,000 based on experience. What You'll Do:
Lead capital projects, including process upgrades, maintenance, and safety improvements.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Analyze potential new processes/products and their feasibility in manufacturing.
Work closely with suppliers and contractors to coordinate construction schedules.
Identify and implement process improvements that drive significant cost reductions.
Provide chemical process engineering support and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Define project specifications, conduct hazard reviews, and support Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred).
Experience: 3+ years in chemical manufacturing industry or a related field.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proven experience in capital project execution and process engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, Microstation, or ChemCad is a plus!
