Talis Group’s client is a Kentucky lean manufacturer of automotive parts located in the Eastend edge of Louisville area. This fast-paced manufacturer is seeking to hire a Production Supervisor for First Shift to lead and develop staff, drive continuous improvement activities, and create a great culture. This first shift position has very rare weekend work. This direct hire has a salary range of $75k-$80k plus full benefits, 401k, and generous PTO. Highlighted Duties:
- Lead, coach, & develop strong production teams to meet Safety, Quality, & Delivery goals.
- Drive accountability & performance using KPIs and lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, & Engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot issues through root cause analysis & problem-solving tools to keep the lines running efficiently.
- Ensure SOP compliance & help identify future team leaders.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure optimal work flow.
- Ensure operating procedures & safety requirements are followed.
- Conduct performance evaluations & provide constructive feedback.
- Identify & drive continuous improvement activities.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of production supervision or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have previous experience in the Automotive industry.
- Ability to build & lead strong teams.
- Experience with lean manufacturing & continuous improvement practices.
- Strong attention to detail & excellent communication skills.
