Talis Group’s client is a Kentucky manufacturer of automotive parts located in the Eastend edge of Louisville area.  This fast-paced manufacturer is hiring a Production Supervisor for First Shift to lead and develop staff, drive continuous improvement activities and create a great culture.  The company provides full benefit package, 401K and generous PTO. Weekend work is rare for the this first shift position

Highlighted Duties:

• Lead, mentor and develop a strong production team
• Participate in root cause analysis and problem solving to keep the lines running efficiently
• Work closely with all departments to ensure optimal work flow
• Ensure operating procedures and safety requirements are followed
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Manage daily production with a focus on Safety, Quality and Delivery
• Identify and drive continuous improvement activities
• Troubleshoot customer issues and implement corrective actions 

Highlighted Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors preferred
• Must have some previous experience in Automotive industry
• 2+ years of production supervision or leadership experience
• Ability to build and lead strong teams
• Experience with Lean tools and problem solving ability
