Nurse Paralegal
Job Description
Talis Group’s company client, a Louisville-based law firm specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice, is seeking a Nurse Paralegal to join their team. This role is essential in helping attorneys prepare for trial by managing case files, conducting legal research, and ensuring seamless case development. This position is full time, onsite, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Salary:$75,000 with yearly bonus.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Request, review, and summarize medical records; preparing outlines and narratives
- Medical and legal research
- Assist attorneys with discovery, preparation of hearings, depositions, and trials
- Manage all case documents, materials, keeping all files updated and organized
Highlighted Requirements:
- Prior experience in injury litigation desired
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written (proofreading, redlining documents, editing) and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency with document management software and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a health care setting as a nurse, with proficient understanding of medical terminology, medications, drawings and HIPPA compliance.
