Paralegal
Job Description
Talis Group’s company client is a reputable law firm in Louisville, KY, specializing in civil defense litigation seeking an experienced and dedicated Paralegal to support their busy practice. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys handling a wide variety of civil defense cases. The role requires a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle a high-volume caseload, and proficiency with technology. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Full benefits package offered including health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off., and paid parking. This position is full time, on-site, Monday through Friday.
Highlighted Duties:
- Draft and manage medical record requests, review, and summarize medical records.
- Prepare chronologies and organize case files.
- Conduct legal research and assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and other case-related documents.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and other case-related tasks as needed.
Highlighted Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil defense litigation.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
