Job Description
A growing boutique law firm with nearly 20 years of deep community ties in Southern Indiana is seeking an experienced Attorney to lead and grow its recently opened Washington County office. This firm is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, as demonstrated by its extremely low turnover and commitment to professional development. This role offers the opportunity to shape the office’s success, manage a small team, and engage with the local community to develop new business, with full support from the firm. This position includes generous salary, full benefit package (health, vision, dental, life, disability and IRA match), performance based bonuses, origination bonuses and unlimited PTO.

For nearly two decades, this firm has built a strong reputation in Real Estate, Estate Planning, Family Law, Corporate Law, with some Injury and Criminal Litigation matters. They prioritize quality legal services, community engagement, and attorney development over billable-hour requirements (no requirements for this firm). Their focus is on helping attorneys succeed, grow their practice, and be rewarded for their contributions through bonuses and other incentives.
Highlighted Duties:
- Oversee and manage legal operations at the Washington County office
- Provide expert legal counsel in one or more of the firm’s core practice areas
- Mentor and lead a small team of attorneys and support staff
- Engage with the local community to build relationships and attract clients
- Develop new business with firm-provided resources and support
Highlighted Requirements
- 3+ years of legal experience in one or more of the firm’s practice areas
- Active Indiana Bar license or eligibility for reciprocal admission
- Must be able to work onsite in the Washington County office
- Leadership and business development experience preferred
- Book of business preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to community engagement and professional growth
