Inside Sales Specialist

Talis Group is hiring on behalf of a well-established, locally owned manufacturing company in Southern Indiana. They are seeking to hire an Inside Sales Specialist to add to their team due to growth. This position will be a vital link between customers, production, and sales, helping orders run smoothly from start to finish.
This is a full-time, direct hire, with a salary range of $50-$60k, plus bonus potential, full benefits, and 401k. (Also includes education reimbursement!) Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, onsite.
Highlighted Duties:
- Support outside and inside sales reps with the day-today operational tasks.
- Answer incoming calls & emails from customers (mostly repeat business.)
- Enter orders, check inventory levels, quote pricing, and track shipments.
- Resolve customer questions or delivery issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate data in the system to ensure orders run smoothly.
- Collaborate with production & shipping teams to ensure orders are on track.
- Learn the company’s products & services to better assists customers.
Highlighted Requirements:
- Experience working in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Previous experience win customer service, inside sales or order entry roles.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented with great time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or ERP software experience is a plus.
- Proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience tracking shipments or working with inventory is required.
