Customer Service/Sales Support Specialist
Job Description
Talis Group’s client is a well-established distributor located in the East End of Louisville. They are seeking to hire a Customer Service/Sales Support Specialist to join their team in a collaborative office setting. The ideal candidate is friendly, courteous, and excels at building customer relations. This is a full-time, direct hire with an hourly pay range of $22-$24/hour, plus full benefits, paid time off, and paid holidays. Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, onsite.
This position is ideal for a friendly, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems, building rapport, and ensuring customer orders are handled accurately.
Highlighted Duties:
- Manage a multi-line phone system, accurately entering orders, quotes, & invoices with professionalism, offering helpful suggestions & product knowledge.
- Follow up with customers for missing information & provide timely updates.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes & support company goals.
- Assist with occasional warehouse-related tasks (shipping documents, inventory tracking, etc.)
Highlighted Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel skills.
- Prior experience using ERP software a plus.
- Previous experience in phone-based or customer-facing roles required.
- Strong attention to detail, organized, and excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, reliable, eager to learn, and team oriented.
- Flexible to adapt to backup roles as needed.
